Develop Detroit is a mission-driven real estate development firm that executes community-powered housing and revitalization projects throughout Detroit. The firm enlisted Sylvain Labs to create the brand vision for its pilot single-family residential project: Marwood + Marston.

The development is located in Detroit’s vibrant North End neighborhood, a tight-knit community with a rich heritage. Guarding against legacy residents’ fears of displacement, the visual identity was designed to feel traditional and timeless, and to celebrate the heritage of the neighborhood and its people.
